Zachary has a background in energy and infrastructure investing. Prior to Carbon Direct Capital, Zachary was the Head of Investments at Aspiration Partners, a climate-focused asset manager. Prior to Aspiration, Zachary was a Vice President in the Renewable Power Group of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Before his career as an investor, Zachary practiced law as a project development and finance attorney at Sidley Austin, Baker Botts and Latham & Watkins. Zachary serves on the Board of the Greater New York Hearing and Speech Society. Zachary holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business, a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
