Shahaab has a background in growth equity investing with a focus on technology companies. Prior to Carbon Direct Capital, Shahaab was a Senior Manager, Strategy & Special Operations, at Better. Prior to Better, Shahaab was a Vice President at Coatue Management, where he invested in both private and public equities. Prior to Coatue, Shahaab was a Senior Associate at Booz & Company in the Tech Media Telecom Practice. Shahaab holds a BS in economics from the Wharton School and a BS in engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania.
