Alicia has a background in finance, accounting, risk management and fund operations. Prior to Carbon Direct Capital, Alicia held leadership roles at D. E. Shaw, including most recently as Principal and Chief Accounting Officer of D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments, where she formerly held titles as Executive Director of Accounting and Head of Risk Management. Prior to D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments, Alicia was a Vice President at D. E. Shaw & Co. Prior to D. E. Shaw & Co., Alicia was a Lead Senior accountant at Ernst & Young in the Real Estate Assurance & Advisory Services group. Alicia holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida.
